Home Repair
Water & Storm Damage Repair
When water gets into a home, the damage usually goes further than what you can see. We repair what leaks, flooding, and storms leave behind: wet drywall, damaged flooring, swollen trim and doors, and exterior damage to siding, fascia, and roofing.
The source of the water gets fixed first, so the repair lasts. On the Gulf Coast, where storms and heavy rain are part of life, water damage is worth dealing with quickly.
Drywall Repair
We patch holes, cracks, and dents, and cut out and replace sections of drywall damaged by leaks or flooding. Each repair is taped, finished, and textured so it blends with the rest of the wall or ceiling.
If drywall got wet, the cause needs fixing first. We make sure the leak or source of water has been dealt with before new drywall goes up, so the repair does not have to be done twice.
Wood Rot Repair: Fascia, Soffit & Trim
Humidity and wind-driven rain work their way into exterior wood, especially fascia boards, soffits, window and door trim, and board ends where paint has failed. We cut out the rotted wood, replace it, then prime and paint so the new wood is protected.
Catching rot early keeps it from spreading to rafters, roof sheathing, or wall framing, where the repair gets bigger.
Siding Repair
We replace cracked, warped, or storm-damaged siding boards and panels and reseal the gaps around them, matching the profile of your existing siding as closely as possible.
Siding is the main barrier keeping rain out of your walls, so a small damaged section is worth fixing before water gets behind it.
Door & Window Repair and Installation
We repair doors that stick, drag, or no longer latch and windows that leak air or water, and we install replacement doors and windows when repair is not worth it. That includes interior doors, exterior entry doors, and windows.
Humidity makes doors swell and frames shift over time, so the job often includes correcting the frame and trim, not just the door or window itself.
Handyman & General Repairs
Not every job is a big project. We also take on general repairs around the house, the smaller fixes that tend to pile up.
If you have several small repairs, list all of them when you ask for an estimate so they can be looked at together.
Roofing & Gutters
Roof Repair
A small roof leak rarely stays small. We repair leaks, replace damaged or missing shingles, and fix worn or loose flashing around vents, chimneys, and skylights, where water most often gets in.
Gulf Coast wind and storms can lift shingles and loosen flashing without anyone noticing from the ground. If you have spotted a ceiling stain or lost shingles after a storm, we will look at the roof in person and tell you whether a repair is enough or the roof needs replacing.
Roof Replacement
When a roof has reached the end of its life, or storm damage is too widespread to patch, a full replacement makes more sense than repeated repairs. The old roofing comes off, damaged decking underneath is replaced, and the new roof goes on with new underlayment and flashing.
Coastal wind is the biggest test a roof faces here, so how the roof is fastened and sealed matters as much as the shingles themselves.
Gutter Repair & Installation
Gutters and downspouts protect your fascia, siding, and foundation by carrying roof water away from the house. We repair leaking seams, sagging sections, and loose downspouts, and install new gutters where they are missing or beyond repair.
Heavy Gulf Coast rain pushes a lot of water through a gutter system, so correct slope and secure fastening matter.
Painting & Pressure Washing
Interior Painting
Interior painting covers walls, ceilings, trim, baseboards, and doors, from a single room to a whole house. Most of a good paint job is preparation: filling nail holes and cracks, sanding, cleaning, and protecting floors and furniture before the first coat.
It pairs naturally with drywall repair: patch the damage, then paint the whole wall so the repair disappears.
Exterior Painting
Exterior painting covers siding, trim, fascia, soffits, and doors. The surface is cleaned, loose and peeling paint is scraped, and bare wood is primed before the finish coats go on.
Heat, humidity, and salt air on the Gulf Coast are hard on exterior paint, so choosing a coating suited to those conditions, and preparing the surface properly, matters as much as the color.
Pressure Washing
Gulf Coast humidity grows mildew and algae fast. We pressure wash siding, driveways, walkways, patios, decks, and fences to remove built-up dirt, mildew, and grime.
Cleaning is also the first step before exterior painting or staining, so the new finish bonds to a clean surface. Wood and some siding need lower pressure to avoid damage.
Remodeling
Kitchen Remodeling
A kitchen remodel can be as focused as updating cabinets, countertops, and backsplash, or as complete as a full renovation. We walk through what you want to change, what the space allows, and your budget, then put the plan in a written estimate.
Bathroom Remodeling
Bathroom remodeling ranges from replacing a vanity to a complete renovation with new tile, tub or shower surrounds, and flooring.
Bathrooms deal with moisture every day, and more so in a humid climate, so what goes behind the tile matters as much as the tile itself.
Flooring Installation
We install tile, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and wood flooring. On the Gulf Coast the right floor often comes down to moisture: water-resistant options like tile and vinyl plank suit kitchens, bathrooms, and ground floors, especially in flood-prone homes.
Installation includes removing the old flooring and preparing the subfloor, which is where a lasting floor starts.
We do not do plumbing or electrical work, so if a remodel needs either, you will need a plumber or electrician for that part of the job.
