Privacy Policy
Effective September 14, 2026
This policy explains what happens to information you give us on galvestondeckbuilder.com, the website of Galveston Deck Builder, operated by New World Builders LLC (Galveston, TX). “We” and “us” mean New World Builders LLC. We have kept it short and specific to what this website actually does.
What We Collect
When you send the estimate form, we receive the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, project location, the service you need, and any project details you write. Along with those, our server records the date and time, the page you sent the form from, and your IP address.
When you just browse, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, pages requested, and browser type) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools on this site.
How We Use It
- To reply to your estimate request and discuss your project
- To schedule an on-site consultation and prepare an estimate
- To protect the form from spam and abuse
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Where It Goes and Who Sees It
A request sent through the form is emailed to the business owner. A copy is also saved in a private file on our web host, so a request is not lost if an email fails to arrive. That file is not accessible from the website. Your information is also handled by the companies that host this website and our email, only as needed to provide those services.
Cookies
Pages that include the estimate form set one cookie, named gdb_session. It is strictly necessary: it lets the form confirm that a request came from a real visit to our site, which is how we block spam without making you solve a puzzle. It contains a random identifier, not your personal details, and it is deleted when you close your browser. We set no other cookies.
Spam Protection
To stop floods of automated requests, we keep a count of recent form submissions linked to a scrambled (hashed) form of the sender’s IP address for up to 24 hours. A hashed IP address cannot be read directly, but it is not fully anonymous, so we treat it as personal information and delete it automatically after a day.
How Long We Keep It
We keep estimate requests for as long as we need them to respond to you and to manage any project that follows, and then delete them.
Fonts and Links
The fonts on this site are served from our own server, so viewing a page does not send your information to a font provider. Some pages link to government and industry websites; those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your Choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling (409) 939-2313. You can also block cookies in your browser; the estimate form will then ask you to call us instead, because it cannot confirm the request.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
